SILK CITY GROOVES is a full-service recording studio located in Paterson, New Jersey. With the artist in mind, SILK CITY GROOVES was designed to provide a comfortable and inspiring environment that allows one's creativity to flourish.

Originating from the hearts and minds of two passionate and successful enterpreneurs with a love for all things art, music and technology, cousins Mike and Greg set out to turn their vision into reality. After recruiting experienced and accomplished Head Engineer/Producer and family member Walter Dicristina, SILK CITY GROOVES opened its doors in early-2016.

During any creative process the necessity for comfort is paramount, and so here at SILK CITY GROOVES we provide you with four rooms comprised of exactly that. Having been designed with simplicity and "quality-over-quantity" in mind, we found it important to keep the overwhelming presence -- prevalent in most recording facilities -- to a minimum. Equipped with world-class Apogee preamps & converters, a microphone cabinet that boasts names such as Royer, Telefunken & Sennheiser as well as an impressive array of amplifiers & FX pedals, etc. -- SILK CITY GROOVES is ready to help turn any idea into reality.

ACCOMMODATIONS
SILK CITY GROOVES is located in Paterson, New Jersey; approximately 30 minutes from New York City. While we are able to accommodate lodging for most clientele -- providing over-night stay, a small kitchen area, common room and shower facility -- there are also nearby hotel options.
AIRPORT INFORMATION

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
is the closest and most accessible airport to the studio. EWR is located 30 minutes south of Silk City Grooves.
